Milden Community Public Access Defibrillator Site located on     the junction of Church Road and Powney Street

 A  Community Public Access Defibrillator site or cPADs is located in our red decommissioned phone box at the junction of Powney Street and Church Road, IP7 7AJ.

It can be accessed in an emergency by calling the Ambulance Service by phoning 999 or 112.  The ambulance caller will support you until a paramedic arrives. 

Following a successful National Lottery Awards for All England Community Fund application we were able to purchase our Defibrillator in August 2018

We were assisted by the Community Heartbeat Trust (CHT) who work with BT and the British Coatings Federations to convert disused phone boxes in rural areas to cPADs. Ongoing running costs are met by Milden Parish with the support of fundraising events and donations.

Periodically we offer Awareness Courses in conjunction with the Community Heartbeat Trust to deliver lifesaving first aid with a defibrillator.
