Within Milden Parish there are approximately 56 properties and 2 working farms, Milden Hall and Lower Farm. Our medieval church of St Peter's, Milden Pavilion and playing field are located on Church Road next to The Old Rectory. The Old School House on Powney Street is now a bus stop and book exchange they are located next to our village 'Melde Sign' and our decommissioned red phone box which houses our village defibrillator. 

Our village is surrounded by open countryside and 4 roads connect our community, they are Powney Street which runs through the village and joins onto Boxford Road. Church Road and Drury Lane are both registered 'Quiet Lanes'. Pound Lane By-way connects Drury Lane to Powney Street to create a circular walk around the village. 

With a permissive path across the village from Pound Lane By-way to Church Road it offers a short circular walk.  Footpaths through farmland from Serens Hall via Hays Farm reach the top of Swingleton Hill joining back with Church Road.
