Milden has 2 grit bins which are located at the junction of Church Road/Powney Street and near Pyghtle Cottage along Church Road.

Anyone can spread the grit and scoops are in the bins for you to use. 

 You can registered as a Suffolk County Council volunteer to be covered under their Public Liabitly Policy. This provides cover  in the very unlikely event you cause an injury or damage to property whilst spreading grit.  If you would like to be added to our village register please contact the Parish Clerk.

The bins are refilled by Suffolk County Council.  If the grit bin needs to be refilled you can request this on-line report a highways issue
