Play Equipment

Milden Parish Meeting and the Milden Pavilion Management Committee are seeking to replace the trim trail at the playing field. While the current play equipment has brought much enjoyment to local children over the years, it is now showing its age. The trim trail was installed in 2000, and the swings followed in 2011, so both are now in need of renewal.

New Trim Trail

Younger members of the parish had the opportunity to vote on their preferred items for the new trim trail. In addition to these choices, they also expressed enthusiasm for the inclusion of swings and football goal posts. The new inclusive play pieces and equipment will not only provide opportunities for fun and play, but will also help to improve children’s fitness and overall well-being.

There are also hopes to add suitable pieces which adults can use for their fitness.

Funding

With financial backing from the Parish Meeting, alongside grants and fundraising events, it is hoped that the replacement equipment will be installed in 2027.
