Speed Indicator Device

In 2023 Milden Parish Meeting agreed to purchase it's first Speed Indicator Device (SID) from our Community Infrasture Levy Fund (CIL).  

Upon it's installation near Powney Cottage, there was noticable reduction in the speed of vehicles travelling along Powney Street. It was agreed to purchase a second SID in 2025, which is now positioned near Milden Cottage.

Both serve as a reminder to motorist of the 30mph speed limit along Powney Street.
