In Milden general waste (black bins) and recycling bins (blue bins)  are collected on alternate weeks by Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils (BMSDC). Our collections days are currently on Tuesdays, with Garden waste (brown bins) collected fortnightly on Friday. Please note collection days change when Bank Holidays occur during the week.

Suffolk County Council operates Suffolk Recycles they provide information about what and where you can recycle items and dispose of waste safely.

There are Recycling Centres are in Hadleigh and Sudbury, which you need to book 

Miden's only public bin is located by the Bus Stop. To save Milden Parish the BMSDC collection charges, it is kindly emptied by a volunteer and placed in their domestic bin.  We politely ask that you dispose of waste, including dog poo in your home bins.

Due to the cost, we do not have Dog Poo bins in Milden. Please dispose of dog poo in your home bin.
